You have now followed some very basic writing principles and ideas that I have outlined. You have a good body set up and you are ready to tweak it or decorate it to make it stand out. This is your chance to shine as a star writer. Use it wisely and freely. This is where your expression as an artist should come out and show. You should make sure that you do many drafts of your first chapter because you want your first chapter to be just perfect. It is helpful if you are able to edit for spelling and grammar. This first round of edits does not have to be perfect as we will come back and do some re editing in the next few review sessions of our manuscript.
