Hunt rides with Bill and the men on a detail in the Dakota territory to a small community consisting of a Wells Fargo Stagecoach stop, and a small trading post, known as Aberdeen. A stagecoach had been stopped and was robbed. One man was dead, and the driver was wounded. Hunt continues to Butte to visit Zip Diamond and his men and finds one man had been seriously wounded by a drunken miner that thought the Deputy was spying on his mining claim.
