During the war Ramson rose to glory in Oklahoma as a Planetary Protection Force Scout, one of the brave young men and women who risked everything ensuring the survival of humanity. His encounters marked the end of the beginning of the Dark Time.More than 99 percent of the humans that populated the Earth before June 21, 2039 perished within 20 years following the arrival of a vast fleet of alien invaders. They appeared suddenly in front of the Moon bearing entreaties of goodwill. In the end, the Scouts were all that stood between the struggling handful of human survivors and empty eternity. The Scouts that endured the long encounter were held in special esteem by those diminishing few who lived to tell the tales of the Dark Time. Every word the Scouts uttered are still a national treasure. The matter of fact telling of their epic encounters by the handful of warriors is most of what humanity knows about what happened when the great shadow fell across the Earth. Humanity's debt to Ramson and his comrades will never be repaid.
