Nineteen year old, Journee Hinson, was all set to go to college in Atlanta when tragedy struck in her family leaving her mother, Jasmine, in a financial bind. Jasmine's relationship with local hustler Jay proves to be even more bad news. Journee's disdain for Jay is all the motivation he needs to plot against the teen. Cadillac, an injured NFL player meets Journee by chance while she is hanging with her best friend Lady Bug and Lady Bug's boyfriend Tony. Cadillac is comforted with his own troubles at home when his wife Eisha finds out about his affairs and a paternity suit. When he discovers the true paternity of the baby all hell breaks loose on the mean streets of Chicago. Against the advice of his friend, mob boss Vino Bianchi (Lady Bug's older brother), Cadillac decides to go to war. Tensions rise at home for Journee. Her dreams of college seems to hang in limbo until Cadillac rescues her. But, Vino also has his sights set on the young beauty. An even larger war is on the horizon for Cadillac who is served with an ultimatum.. He can either denounce his love for Journee and surrender her to Vino or die. Cadillac refuses the proposition. Not only must he now fight for his love for Journee, he is blindsided with some of Eisha's affairs. In the end questions loom.... Will love conquer all? Is it worth his life and livelihood? On this twisted journey, who will reign victorious and who will perish and win the ultimate prize, the love of Journee, aka the girl who every hustler desires.
