This book, is much indebted to the Literary influence of the Canonical Literary Genius, - the Irish Poet and Novelist, James Joyce. The book is dedicated to my boyhood Priest, Fr. Brian O'Higgins, D.D., who was Parish Priest of Our Lady Immaculate Church, in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brentwood, England, who encouraged me to become a writer, when I was a boy.The book is a programmatic statement to rebuild the 'logos', - the Word of God, that James Joyce, destroyed in his Canonical Novel, 'Finnegans Wake'.All of my Literary Career, is dedicated to rebuilding the logos - the Word of God. My main Literary influences are the Tragedies of William Shakespeare; Dante; John Milton and James Joyce, and I am a Layman and a Roman Catholic. The book is aimed at the School-boy reader and above. It has been written in Ten Chapters to mirror the Decalogue. The book is a meditation on John Milton's famous poem 23, 'At A Vacation Exercise in the College, part Latin, part English', and studies how literary language inter-fuses with the language of Gregorian Chant - the language of monastic worship in the monastic life.I have been encouraged in my work in my writing career by Professor Robin Kirkpatrick of Robinson College, Cambridge - oneof the world's leading Dante Scholars.I have also been encouraged by Dr. Rivkah Zim, one of the leading Academics of the English Department of King's College, London.
