By 1905, Juan is able to bask in economic prosperity as he continued his pursuit of the American Dream.Historian Suronda González provides a full introduction to the ethnic history depicted in "Pinnick Kinnick Hill." “Hundreds of Spaniards settled in the Harrison County area, raising children in a unique mixture of customs and lifestyles from two continents,” González says.
