Description

One objective of this book is to set forth an analysis of the Olivet Discourse, which Discourse is prophetic concerning Christ's Second Coming in judgment against apostate Israel in AD 70. This volume is composed of sixteen in-depth studies designed to unravel the Olivet Discourse in order to apprehend more clearly the Book of Revelation. The Olivet Discourse is simply an epitomized summary of the Book of Revelation. On the other hand, the Book of Revelation is an enlargement of the Olivet Discourse. The first four chapters research the date of Revelation (Chapter 1), the identity and character of the beast of Revelation (Chapter 2), an assessment of the phrase "a new heaven and a new earth" (Chapter 3), and the last days in the Old and New Testaments (Chapter 4). Chapter 5 focuses on the coming wrath of God. The next chapter (6) discusses the Second Coming of Christ. Chapter 7 presents a literary analysis of Matthew's Gospel. Chapters 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 investigate the teachings of the Olivet Discourse. Chapter 15 examines the phrase "second death." Chapter 16 gets to the bottom of the intent of the parable of the rich man and Lazarus.
