Follow the Vulture begins in 2004, starting at the point where the author's previous novel, Sword of God, left off. Several special operations soldiers have just stopped a group of Afghan terrorists from attacking the Indian Point Nuclear Power plant in New York, and are waiting to be placed on leave. Captain Robert Walker and a small group of his soldiers head for some R&R at Walker's home on Marathon in the Florida Keys. At the same time, a group of Iranian terrorists are coming to the United States to hit a selected target. The terrorists visit Cuba to complete their training, and will then invade America, entering the county on a U.S.-registered pleasure boat. Instead, they run into a charter boat carrying American Special Forces off the Florida Coast. The terrorists take a female soldier hostage, with the Americans in hot pursuit. When they reach Miami, the soldiers attack the terrorists and try to save the hostage. Follow the Vulture shows how easy it is for terrorists to attack their victims. The book urges vigilance and support of our troops. Stephen Francis Montagna has completed 22 novels. Born in Brooklyn, New York, the author is a bachelor and lives in Marathon in the Keys and also in Safety Harbor/Clearwater, Florida.
