THIS BOOK CONTAINS ONE MEGA TEEN ADVENTURE! Give some kids a nuclear-powered RV, access codes to call in air strikes, and nuclear launch codes, and stand back - they do it all!!! Teachers have assigned 'Forty Foot Club - Vol. I - 1001 Teen Survival Strategies', as trivia-packed homework, with exciting hours of schoolroom debate and thought-provoking written reports the result, especially when they explain their own Positive Molecules to help them through the tough times.. In this most adventurous volume of the 'Forty Foot Club - Vol. II - Southern Division', a presidential assassination is seconds from killing the president on Air Force One as it runs for Texas with U.S. Air Force attack jets at its wingtips, unable to help him. Back on the ground, the Forty Foot Club gets so good at their computer simulators that the President of the United States gives some middle-school kids a mission to rescue two starving kids in Oklahoma when a drug lord will not let any one help the kids; they only have one condition - NO RULES!! The President gave them the nuclear-powered simulator RV for testing, but it was not supposed to go on the road. A drive-by school shooting gets their dander up and the kids redesign the computer-controlled RV with surplus military parts. When no one else can help, the President of the Forty Foot Club declares a GUMBALL RUN of 85 days, through 48 states, for 16,308 miles! The clubbers bust the RV out through a wall in the school and head for Oklahoma with people out to stop them. The governor of Texas calls out the National Guard and Texas Rangers, so the President calls in his own private assassins to train and help the kids obtain their goal, and thechase is on! Thanks to reprogramming the onboard military computer, the club members are able to solve many of their own problems with one rescue after another, helping kids all over the United States. But when terrorists try to set off three nuclear devices near California's coastline, the Forty Foot Club has no other choice than to put the RV into Thermo-Nuclear hyper-drive reaching speeds of 180 MPH, break the military's encryption codes, and even the President is shocked when they launch an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile to take out an aircraft carrier and sink it to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean! The temperamental RV takes on its own personality and starts to hate anyone wearing a hat, so the kids run into some problems controlling it. The clubbers track down a spy in the War Room under the White House, save the Space Shuttle Atlantis, and the RV takes a liking to one of the kids onboard and rescues her all by it's self! All the while - teaching self-confidence, courage, and ways to be successful in life to its mesmerized readers. *BONUS - A TWO-HOUR SCRIPT FOR A MOVIE-OF-THE-WEEK IS INCLUDED, PLUS A ONE-HOUR PILOT SCRIPT, AND A WEEKLY TELEVISION SERIES SCRIPT IS INCLUDED AT THE END!
