Finally, a federal civil action against Adams was filed in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Georgia.Adams recruited his pettifogger and homophobic lawyer friend, to attempt to intimidate him into dropping his civil suit, including harassing the neighbors elderly mother who resided on the other side of the country. Here are the official documents, and actual copies of his letters to parties and their responses, from Adam's lawyer, the BAR, and others. Adam's attorney's letters have been reviewed and evaluated by a team of attorneys and legal scholars who were amazed that Adam's attorney wasn't disbarred.This case was one of the most blatant and ignorant violations of Civil Rights in the twentieth century. At the time this book went to press the initial suit had been dismissed pending re-filing and another federal action was about to be filed in federal court against Adams and his former attorney both. The action is currently in the process of being filed by the GRL in San Francisco, one of the leading gay civil rights litigation organizations, and is sure to become a landmark case in legal and gay rights history.
