This book is his memoirs written piecemeal at several stages of his life. (Geoff died in 1996) A life of passionate interest in boats, planes and automobiles and Engineering and 'bodging'. Of the trials of never having quite enough money, and of his love of the characters and history that made up his childhood and life in Hull and the East Riding. (Includes a period when Geoff moved to Gateshead) This book will be of interest to anyone who lives in Hull and is interested in social history, to anyone with an engineering bent and especially to people who love veteran and vintage cars and old aeroplanes.
