A hot-headed Heavy Metal musician struggles with his engagement to his House Songstress girlfriend and a prosperous music career while seeking counseling for his abusive childhood past. World-renowned rock bassist/vocalist, Ramiro Espinoza, of the thrash metal band "Irate" seemed to have it all on stage, but behind the scenes things were far from perfect. He grew up in a religious household, where his father threw Bible verses in his face while he, his mother and sister endured lots of physical and emotional abuse. Rock/Heavy Metal was an outlet for Ramiro, where he learned to play the bass guitar and found his voice to sing. On top of that, he wrote lyrics about his bad relationship with his father and things in the world that vexed him. He and two bandmates formed a trio with an aggressive, fast sound that captivated fans by the millions. His fiance, Noelle, a House/Techno Songstress gave up gigs singing at small venues in New York to tour with Ramiro around the world. While on tour, he would put Noelle's style of music down, belittle her before everyone, and even got physical. Without hesitation, she left Ramiro right in the middle of his tour. Ramiro knew he couldn't fight his demons on his own and needed professional help. His manager arranged for a counselor to tour with this Heavy Metal god, holding sessions between shows. Ramiro needed to make things right so Noelle would walk down the aisle. His father who has made Ramiro's life a living hell as a child, resurfaced to annihilate his future. Now, Ramiro must confront this demon in human form.
