This is a Novella and is an introduction to my Appalachian Dragon clan. Running from her abusive and dangerous husband, she decides to head to Maine to hideout. What she didn't expect was her husband hiring someone to kill her. A car accident leaves her stranded in the mountains with nowhere to go when a sexy stranger shows up to save her. His cool demeanor should push her away, but it doesn't. She wants him and has no idea why.Will Jase accept his mate and by doing so, protect her? And will Angel trust Jase enough to love him?
