Kharma Angel Gomez has always been a good girl with a good head on her shoulders. Being the only daughter of Melita and Sebastian Gomez, she feels smothered. Her parents are very over protective, especially when it comes to shielding her from the bad boy Jonathan Short, who tries to gain her heart every chance he gets. Her wish is finally granted and her feelings are put to the test one late stormy night at the office when the Mayor asks her to stay over to help with a speech he has to do at an upcoming event. Boundaries are crossed and Kharma's reeled in by her love for him. After all of the late nights and early mornings while sneaking around on his wife, Adam finds himself in an unforeseen situation. With his career and reputation, not to mention his marriage on the line, he threatens Kharma and pays her to move out of the small town of Aurora, West Virginia. After she tells him that she is indeed pregnant with his child Kharma's world is shattered, but she agrees and disappears until after the baby is born. Two years and nine months later Kharma is BACK!!!!! AND SHE IS MORE THAN JUST A WOMAN SCORNED!! Will Adam stand up and be the man that she fell in love with, or will the little town in West Virginia lose a well loved and respected Mayor.
