In Mark's Way, college history professor Mark Price is obsessed with revenge when his reason for living is violently taken from him. His history of violence he'd experienced as a member of a covert military unit during the Vietnam era is reawakened. Roe Estes is a young woman drawn into a life of sex and drugs, who has lost her pride, dignity and will to live. And Jim Herbert, a good man, is close to losing his sanity as he is sits on Florida's death row, waiting to die, for a crime he is totally innocent of. In Mark's way, these three people are connected by two intertwined story lines occurring over a ten-year period. Mark Price brings into question the sometimes, fine line between justice and revenge as he ultimately finds peace while risking his own life helping Roe regain her strength and pride. The reader will appreciate Roe and her metamorphosis into a strong woman who re-gains control of her own destiny. Ultimately, they work together trying to prove the innocence of Jim Herbert. A Columbian drug dealer, a prominent Orlando surgeon, a shady attorney and a leader of a biker gang, all play a critical part in the story.
