Brothers, Terick & Timothy, were no strangers when it came to struggling. Being that their mother was an unfit alcoholic, and their father forever absent, Terick was left with no choice but to man up in order to take care of himself and his little brother. By pure coincidence, Terick walks right into a confrontation between Pedro and Monica and being the man that he was, he couldn't just stand around and allow him to brutally attack her, so he steps in. In that instance, Monica learned that there are still some men who have compassion for other's and that sparks her interest. However, she doesn't run into Terick again until later on down the line and the two hit it off almost instantly. Pedro, finally seeing that he has no control over Monica anymore, is determined to sabotage what she has with Terick in order to get her back. What happens when a jealous boyfriend is lurking in the shadows and willing to do any and everything to destroy what you are trying to build.
