The series was written by, and in consultation with, First Australians. In the Lower Primary People Big Book in the Our Land, Our Stories series you meet Josie, Orlando and Shae. You learn about each of the children's families and their favourite things to do together. Josie loves dancing and singing with her older sister, and they have a favourite clapping game. Orlando loves learning about the bush from his pop and taking photos of animals. Shae loves listening to her nan's stories and learning words from her language.
