Kimberly met Mike on Valentineas Day in 1994. After three months of trying to find a day and time to go out together they finally managed to have a day off together. They learned more about each other as they got to know each other better. After six months of dating, Kimberly and Mike moved in together. After six weeks of pregnancy, she had a miscarriage. Kimberly and Mike got through the loss of the baby together, only to turn around and find out that they had to get through a terrifying illness. As Kimberly recovered from the illness, she planned their wedding for September 24, 1996. A second miscarriage was suffered not long after the wedding. Eventually, the cause of the miscarriages was discovered.
