Jonathan Foster was unlike any twelve year old boy growing up in the 1960's in a semi-rural area of a Midwestern city. The only brother of three sisters, the youngest sister Sarah, looked up to him as big brother and sometimes hero; someone to try and emulate and admire. Neither of them had any idea that their brother-sister relationship would be used later in life to manipulate them both. The mysterious disappearance of Sarah leaves Jonathan with a guilt that he carries for over twenty-five years and into a successful career, marriage and fatherhood that finally manifests itself into threatening and destroying everything that he holds dear to him. Then the mayhem begins. Sarah comes back from presumably being dead and wreaks havoc on her family with only one goal in sight. Her big brother must be made atonable for not what he did to her twenty-five years before, but for sins committed in a previous life. With a close friend that turns traitor, a mysterious death and near-fatal accidents along the way, it all comes down to a final showdown between Jonathan and his resurrected little sister Sarah and evil itself. The results leave Jonathan not just starting to understand his past, but also raise the question of why? Why he and a select group of others like him, have the ability to not have lived in previous lives over the centuries, but to also retain the memories and experiences from one generation to the next?
