Ribbons and Thistle Flowers design is a counted needlework embroidery presented within a 52 page booklet. The outer border of the design is a four-time repeat of a four-color Bargello ribbon. Enclosed by the Bargello ribbons, four dark violet-blue thistle flowers with pineapple shaped bases are centered within the design. The main sections of the designs are presented within their own sections that offer detail charts, photos of the worked sample and tips for working the design.As normal within a Bargello style or counted needlework design, the symmetry is extremely important. I view and review my guidance charts with the final step being that I stitch the full pattern from each of my charts to ensure positional spacing of each object and that the charts for my design are correct. Bargello needlework designs may look complex but they are actually very easy to stitch when you follow my booklet's numerous pages of zoomed-in charts and photos. My booklets, divided into sections that discuss the main pattern parts of each design, present photos and graphed charts in color and close-ups so you can see the details. The final section of each booklet presents larger photos and charts. Within the e-book format you can expand the charts and photos throughout the booklet to view details down to individual stitches.
