This publication is designed to facilitate program assessment involving women's studies courses by setting feminist principles of assessment in the context of the larger assessment movement. It features innovative assessment designs, a variety of methodological approaches, and practical advice about how to conduct a productive assessment project on a campus. The book is divided into three parts. Part 2 contains chapters on what feminist assessment is, how to design an assessment program, and a description of methods and models of assessment. Finally, Part 3 provides brief comments on the assessment process as it was implemented in seven colleges and universities.
