During the day Spiro had to hustle to make ends meet, selling drugs on and the side Spiro and Sephrina were taken to Foster Care, where they were beaten, raped and broken by their Foster Father. After years of that intense torture they are free and the world never seemed the same again. Desperation clouded Spiro's judgment as he took a deadly job in order to make sure Sephrina was taken care of. Time passes and as Spiro gets himself in deeper he starts to unravel a mystery within himself meanwhile meeting a girl that is the answer to his prayers. The City Breaks its Promise is a Mainstream Fiction novella that is has an intense character study of Spiro that propels the First Person narrative to great heights. It's funny, tragic and at times beautiful.
