Description

The Galveston was a tri-mast schooner built entirely of wood without any iron metal on it. The engine was all aluminum as was the lead filled anchor. There was a reason for the yacht to be without iron on it; the ship carried below the waterline twenty Firefish, metal detecting torpedoes designed to penetrate any hull and set the ship afire with a phosphorus canister. The Galveston was a clandestine warship of considerable power. Frankly she could put the United States at war with Cuba in the matter of minutes if her owner Lisa Jane Massey got really pissed while in Havana. Lisa stayed away from Cuba for just that reason. Solo sailing the ninety-eight foot schooner was no easy task, but the gutsy woman did. Lisa was running from lust with a lawyer by the name of William Smith. Billy Blue Eyes she swooned over his name not ready to fall into the man's bed. In Florida she found a sailor who could take her mind off of Billy Blue Eyes and used him as an excuse to create a face fiance to be able to resist Bill when she returned to her home city of Galverston. James Billingsley got the call not only to play the part of Lisa's intended, but to buy the rights to the dangerous Firefish torpedoes that her deceased parents produced for the black market. Lisa did not want to know the business that had made her parents rich! The Navy wanted the clandestine warship for their own and Lisa just wanted Billy Blue Eyes. James Billingsley had other ideas."
