Darren Bennett was born on the wrong side of the track as they say but wanted so much to get out of where he was so he became a stand up comedian as laughter and making people happy mainly his enemies and bullies at school was the only way he could fit in. He started in pubs and clubs doing the circuit not that many of the patrons listened as they were to full of drink and only wanted to watch the girls pole dancing, then one night he was playing at the Palace theatre which had been home to many a famous face throughout its lifetime and had now become a venue for budding comedians and Darren took the opportunity to try and make his mark. So there he sat in his dressing room waiting for his call to perform and then show time Darren walked out onto the stage to face his biggest audience he did not do too well and was glad when it was all over and then went back to his dressing room. Along the wall of his dressing room were pictures of famous comedians who has played at the Palace and one of them was Parley Grainger Darren's hero and he gave Parley a smile as he passed when he got into his dressing room he poured himself a drink as he needed one and made a gesture towards the hallway and said. "I would give my soul Parley to be like you." The ghost of Parley appeared to Darren and said he was going to help him, he could not believe what was happening and thought his drink had been spiked from that moment on Darren went on a journey with Parley when he Parley suggested he enter his body and he became Darren and he only had to utter the words (Be gone) and Parley would come out. This he did and Darren became famous by winning a contest ran by the Palace that made it the talk of the town and Darren won a Mercedes car. From that moment on, his life was going to become a roller coaster ride he never would have believed because every time Parley entered Darren's body he became stronger and harder to get out even when he said the words (be gone) Parley began to like where he was. Darren was then offered a gig in a very famous Club in the north owned by a man name Curtis Booth who offered Darren a chance to hit the big time Curtis booked Darren and his wife Mavis into a five star hotel and he appeared in his club and was a great hit and where he met a New York club owner named Michael Meecham who wanted Darren to appear in his new club in New York the only way he could perform was to take Parley along in his body and this he did along the way things started to happen that Darren could not control like the mile high club on concord that the club owner had booked Darren on and in the morning the airhostess knew nothing about what happened and Darren thought it just jet lag and maybe a dream. Things went from bad to worse as Parley became more and more dominant till Michael Meecham brought Darren's wife Mavis over not telling Darren as he wanted them to join his little family if you know what I mean. Darren had to tell Mavis about Parley and his little games he had made Darren play even with Curtis Booth's wife and the air hostess so they made a plan to escape from New York and the clutches of Booth and Meacham and go back to England and see if they could get rid of Parley their plan involved a priest and some holy water but the plan did not go according to plan if you get my drift and things did not go as they had wished.
