John the Baptist and Jesus Christ were considered as rebel leaders by the Romans but they were not the only ones. When Emperor Augustus died in 14 A.D, he left the newly found Roman Empire along with his Crown in the hands of his Adopted son Tiberius, but with rebellions breaking out across the empire, the new Emperor will have to get to work immediately to. First on his list will be the province of Judea where followers of John the Baptist had broken away and took up arms against the Roman authority, to deal with this problem, the Emperor called upon a freed Egyptian slave name Ahmose. Ahmose who had been one of Emperor Augustus's most trusted slave had only received his freedom two years before Augustus's death, now all he wanted was to go back home to his native land and raise his children, but the new Emperor had other plans, he forced the tile of Tribune upon Ahmose and sent him off to Judea to lead an army against the rebels. The young Tribune reluctantly accepted, soon he was raging war in the holy land, and while his wife and children became devoted followers of the Jesus Christ and the Jewish faith, he continued his brutality of the Jewish rebels and those shielding them, until he was left for death by those closest to him, now alone without the strength or the direction back to his men, he found strength from a God he hates and kindness from the very people he prosecuted. Will he be able to lead his men into battle again? Or will he abandon his post and becomes and enemy of Rome? I invite you to come along with Ahmose on this journey and see Pontius Pilate, King Herod, Emperor Tiberius, John the Baptist and Jesus Christ like you've never seen them before, you won't regret it.
