Transported to 1949, Lucy and Mark are trapped in a world that shouldn't exist. But to find it the best friends must read Marconi's diary, which is housed in the Volks Palast - the former Alexandra Palace - worryingly now the headquarters of the SS. As time passes Mark and the Prisoner of the Volks Palast witness Nazi brutality at first hand; Lucy finds herself at the heart of the regime, at the mercy of the enigmatic Admiral Von Schmidt, ruffles, rising star of the Nazi elite. Though Lucy is in more danger as two people want her time travelling ability for themselves and are willing to tear her apart to get it.
