Through the Eyes of Truth, author James C. Murray reveals the truth seen by Lieutenant Larry Chaney, his son James C. Murray Jr. and other Army personnel as Lieutenant Chaney starts an investigation of 1st. Sergeant John Martinez and discovers Gods' Eternal Grace, Love, and Mercy. Lieutenant Chaney said he did not know but would find out. He told Jamie to go with him and they would both go and talk to 1st.Sergeant John Martinez about it. Lieutenant Chaney and Jamie arrived at the office of the first sergeant. They knocked on the door but no answer. They both went inside and no one was there. They went back outside to the main office. They began to ask some of the solders where 1st.Sergeant John Martinez was at and when he would be back. Each person they talked to said the same thing: "Who is 1st. Sergeant John Martinez?" We do not know any 1st. Sergeant John Martinez. That seemed strange. Lieutenant Chaney, Jamie, and the other solders saw and talked to him. They all worked with this person on a daily basis but now know one knows him. Lieutenant Chaney requested an official investigation. An official investigation was conducted and the investigation concluded that there was never a 1st. Sergeant John Martinez assigned to that unit and further stated that the Department of the Army had no record of 1st. Sergeant John Martinez ever being in the military service anywhere. This was hard to believe because everyone knew that they had worked with him and saw him each day. There is no doubt in my mind that 1st.Sergeant John Martinez was an angel sent by God to tell Jamie about his first born child. A child that my son would never see and a child that would never know her daddy!
