Toothache is about a group of future dentists who are interested in everything except for dentistry. Bhoomi, Mits and Riya Cheenu Mehu are a group of friends. Bhoomi is happy in her life and friends. Uday, the guy she has crush on, proposes to her and life becomes a fairytale until she realizes that she has to make a very difficult decision. She has to choose either her friendship or love; her decision makes her lose everything she thought was a part of her previous existence. Life moves on and she and Uday find their soulmates in each other. The tension of the upcoming final year exam adds to the tension the dental students are already experiencing at discovering that one of their friends is a drug addict. Bhoomi and Uday pass, but Heena and few other friends fail. Mits comes back into Bhoomi's life with a bang and requests help from her old friend. Bhoomi is once again at a crossroads. Life gives her a chance to bridge the gap between her and her friend, but she will have to risk her love with Uday.
