The nine lessons are designed to lead to a positive commitment. "No longer can we take sustainability of the biosphere and its ecosystems for granted. Humankind has become a major biological and goelogical force, and is now challenging the very sustainability of our planet upon which our and every other living creature's lives depend. How should Christians respond? Two Views of the Future examines both the Biblical and scientific truths that are essential to understanding this crisis and for taking positive Christian action."
