At age 28, Peggy Lynn Bahus was working in a county auditor's office. One day her Supervisor was removed from her position. Peggy was asked if she would like the Supervisor position. Since she was the youngest person in a 12 woman office, she had to think about it. She was young enough to be a daughter or granddaughter to her coworkers. Peggy didn't realize she was setting herself up for failure. Nine months later, Peggy was boxed into a corner with no way out. She was trapped by her boss and one of the women she was supervising. Peggy believed their plan was to get rid of her and promote this woman to Supervisor. Peggy was so scarred by their actions that she was a distraught for quite some time, even after she left. After a few years went by, she decided she would write a book about this experience, so that others could learn from her mistakes. Years later after encountering a few more issues in the workplace at several different positions, she decided to write about each of these difficult situations, which became the chapter names for this book. For every issue she encountered, she always asked for God's guidance. Her faith helped her successfully surpass her trials and, for the most part, became content for the outcome of her actions. She learned lessons which she hopes to share with others through this manuscript. A biblical quote at the end of each chapter reflects upon the lesson learned.
