The fine balance is for you to determine. This piece of work was written for me, with the belief that we are all similar. Because of this, it might be beneficial to others. I write about how sticks and stones and hand grenades are not to be feared. I share a wonderful trip with my cousin who was almost blinded by sunscreen. I poke at May & December marriages, country music, senior sex, and my little brother's day of being Superman. Most everything is fair game in my writings. I wrote with the intent of sharing my guidance and beliefs that we are all looking for a soft place to land when times are challenging. This sacred place is found in many places and takes many forms. It is important in my thinking that we care for ourselves first, and because of that, we can benefit those around us. If we don't put our own needs first, we have nothing to give, and no one benefits. If we have created a reality that we have little value, we can change that perception because it is ours.
