The poetry in this book are the deepest thoughts and emotions one can feel. Emotion and thought have no systems and have no order, and often there is no logic either. I thought it would be fitting to write this book in a similar manner, there is no order and thus what would seem completely random and illogical is actually a true reflection of my journey. I have spent a great deal of my time talking with many individuals who were having a very difficult time and have myself also had my fair share of challenges. The poetry in this book is the emotions I and/or those I have met were feeling and are emotions we have all felt at a time in our lives.. This book explores the thoughts and emotions of an individual plagued by doubt, fear and confusion going through drastic periods of physical, psychological and emotional change and the thoughts and emotions of those he has met on this journey of his.Below is a little part of one of my poems:"As I sat, I saw my memories projected on the wallI realised that I never truly appreciated it allI always took it as a given these times would stayI was naive and for a long time I stayed that wayI wish I realised the fickle nature of time beforeThat understanding came a little sooner into my mindThen maybe I could have truly lived in the momentBecause time is something you can never rewind."
