This book, "Amongst Us All: Stories, Essays, Poems and Mad Scribblings from the Posthumous Papers of the Phantom Writers Guild", is the culmination of nearly three decades of late nights and friendship. Among the entries are stories involving unorthodox cleaning methods and an eyewitness (or is it "fly-witness"?) account of a job interview. There are essay tributes to Hubert Selby and Levon Helm. One Guild member takes up the task of writing the most challenging poem ever, and there is a novella about a man who finds himself on the wrong side of a scavenger hunt. Each section is punctuated by cartoons courtesy of the Guild's own "Mad Scribbler". With all this and so much more, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy.
