Description

In this paper, one considers the multiple mode resource-constrained project scheduling problem with renewal and non-renewal resource types for which the objective is to minimize the project duration. An algorithm is proposed, incorporating tabu search heuristics in which two move operators were deeply experimented with the randomly chosen mode for the selected activity, which must yield a feasible schedule. The performance of the proposed algorithm is compared with the results previously published and confirms its efficiency. Keywords: Project management, resource-constrained, multi-mode scheduling, tabu search heuristics, non renewable resources.--Résumé de l'éditeur.
