Because of a party mood a child is procreated at New Year's Eve in 1958/59. Misused for his mother's ends and despised by his father, little Hans Georg grows up in a sick and dangerous atmosphere. Love and affection have to be bought. At a work effort on his grandfather's farm he gets a lower back pain at the age of twelve years. Neither doctors nor natural health professionals are able to release him from his pain. After a simple masseur achieves this feat, he decides to become a masseur as well. Within his family there is much opposition; they try to talk him into being too stupid for such an activity; he should better clip tickets at the German Federal Railway. But he is not deterred. He passes his state examination as a very young man, runs the physio department of a Kneipp sanatorium at the age of just twenty, at the age of twenty-two he is made the associate director of a huge clinic, helps refloating other clinics, supports victims of sexual child abuse and domestic violence as well as homo-, trans- and intersex people. At the age of twenty-four he starts his own clinic. In order to extend his knowledge, he travels to South Korea and South Africa. He founds a fitness studio and marries. A short time later his sunshine, his son Benni is born. Hans Georg van Herste demonstrated to everybody that in spite of a most difficult childhood and oppositions you can achieve something and fulfill the dream of your life. Provided with much intelligence, heart, courage, patience, spirit and resistance of envy, today he is an example for many people. His books are offered worldwide; his TV documentaries are worldwide broadcasted. His patients travel from all over the world to be treated by him, to get his advice. This is his story.
