This Christian fantasy relates the adventures of a motley group of travelers drawn together by the main character who goes only by the name, 'Teacher.' An angel, Aziel, guides the group and allows them to see Biblical characters from the Old Testament along the route. The pilgrims encounter friendly residents, bands of marauders and Evil personified as they travel the Holy Land skirting the Arabian Desert and arrive after several months in Mesopotamia, where the culminating vision occurs. The way back home is fraught with more adventures as the main character marries and returns to America. Anyone interested in the stories of the Old and New Testament will enjoy reading this imaginary journey back in time to the creation of Modern Man (Adam). In addition, an Appendix describes the recent pilgrimage to the Holy Land taken by the author and his wife in March, 2011.
