I started writing this book, thinking about the many hopes and expectations that one has when in school, and how it changes over a period of time. Life often teaches us a lot of things, what we are listening to; is really important. This book traces a story of Jack who dreams of being somebody, and how Amy; a friend he will keep for life wants to become the change in somebody else's life. It's about finding dreams and hopes, and at least living a handful of them. The story revolves around Jack, his friends Henry, Amy and Kate and how things change over a period of time. There are times Jack wishes that everything would add up somehow and everything would make sense, but he realizes it rarely does in real life, and yet it's the best we have. From finding his childhood dreams, to finding a true friend and someone to love it's his journey around so many people who shape his life. He started out something hugely different and yet again; he realizes he has been a change in so many people's lives. In the end I guess it all comes down, to a few pages that he writes and thoughts that he recollects. He realizes something that he summarizes, "Life is not perfect, it never is and it is finding meaning to this imperfection that makes it beautiful".
