I faced off with trials that weren’t easy to overcome. The valleys weren’t easy to cross. But I think nothing good will ever come easy. I desired change for better. And I believed in myself. I also made attempts to serve God wholeheartedly. In fact, this testament records my story of baptism in two churches, joining each, a year apart. But I never subscribed to defeat. I am someone who believes in succeeding even in the mightiest storms. Challenges had me back to back, but I held on to myself. I believe that there is a kingdom of greatness in me. I may not be the richest person in the world, but I learned to be contented with the little I have. This book talks about my struggle with major illnesses; from battling with major depression to squaring off with borderline personality disorder and schizoaffective disorder. During the writing of this episode of my life, I lost many friends. Many people broke ranks with me because I am mentally ill. But I was encouraged to be strong and courageous.
