Betty is a fun story. Although it begins with the tragic loss of her husband in a crash of the Air Force famous 'Thunderbirds,' Betty quickly 'picks up the pieces' and moves forward. Betty goes back to school to get her license as a counselor and soon is invited to teach in the local branch of the State University. Also, she becomes well known in banking circles as she helps the local bank develop a plan for aiding persons unfamiliar with household bills, income and control assets. Building a career and finding a new love are exciting events in the lives of Betty, Amy and Shannon.
