April 14, 2014, 270+ school girls were kidnapped from the Chibok Government Secondary School By Boko Haram Terrorists in Nigeria and were left with these same emotions, if not more. Approximately 112 are still missing as of February 2018. The abduction of these girls and many others has led to the nationwide campaign of 'Bring Back Our Girls'. How many other little girls has satan, the aristocrat of darkness, sent molesters to their rooms to take their virtue and their sense of value? How many young women are missing their sense of identity due to their mothers not being there to call them 'princess' or their fathers to protect them? Leaving them broken and confused. I want to encourage us to look deeper within our relationships with our daughters, our moms and even ourselves. There is a national crisis in which we, are dealing with; broken parental relationships, bullying, negative body image, identity crisis and suicidal thoughts becoming the new norm. How are we preventing this or helping to make it right again? I say we start a spiritual campaign against the kingdom of darkness, bringing back our daughters from the pain of our own broken parental relationships, misfortunate childhood experiences and catastrophe alike. It is with my best intentions and hope, in writing this devotional, to serve the readers in helping to restore any broken mother-daughter relationship, encouraging the inspection of your relationship with The Father (God) Himself, as well as to begin to better your relationship with yourself. This devotional should not take the place of you seeking professional counseling when or if your relationships are emotionally scarred. I invite you to join me as we journey through a spiritual campaign starting in our very own homes and hearts to 'Bring Back Our Girls.'
