The drug dealers call him Bullet... "He's bald, he's fast, and if he catches you, he will MESS YOU UP!" He's a cop, three years on the force, the latest addition to the Montgomery County Texas, Constable's office and faces a formidable illegal drug activity in the area which quickly catapults him into spearheading several seemingly unsolvable murders. This is a novel and as such, the characters are, for the most part, composites and fictional. Like the dedicated and colorful characters they are created from, they navigate through fluid and volatile situations that are sure to keep the reader captivated. The locations and the pervasive drug problems, however, are real. It is, without a doubt, an exciting and thrilling tale with a basis of reality that will cause you to think. It centers around a Bolivian drug supplier with a sophisticated, no-holds-barred plan to take over the lucrative Houston illegal drug market which they consider a supply hub for the rest of America. It is elaborate, it's been in the making for years, and now it's ready for implementation. Bullet (Blare Cotsworth) together with his team; Puffy, X, Spin, and Bridges, have a formidable task where no one is who they seem to be, and even the known bad guys seem to be untouchable. Bullet is challenged with cooperating with his enemy or certain death to himself, his family, and everyone he loves. He confides in his surrogate father, Deke Tanner, the closest friend of his own deceased father, who is no stranger to elaborate and deadly schemes of others, to help combat the threat. So what does Deke do when his plans don't work out? He makes a new plan.
