Have they migrated from Indian subcontinent, in the very long past due to its conducive climate and the rich flora? Certainly they did not evolve here? We haven't had mammoths artifacts or skeletons. We do not have fossils of dinosaurs. That brings me to a simple proposal that Ceylon like New Zealand, is relatively a new country or an island compared to the history of this planet.
