The regression model improved both the accuracy of demand predictions and the stability and accuracy of ETMS Monitor/Alert. ... The purpose of this report is to [1] Analyze the errors in time predictions for individual flights and characterize the accuracy of ETMS flight-by-flight prediction data; [2] Use these characteristics of uncertainty to determine the probability for an aircraft to be in a NAS element at any given time (e.g., to be in sector or to arrive at an airport); [3] Use these probabilities of individual flights' events for probabilistic predictions of aggregate traffic demand counts at NAS elements (e.g., 15-minute demand counts at airports)."--Introduction (p. 1).
