Every thousand years, a force unknown to man selects a new living being tasked to travel from star system to star system, planet to planet. The man selected, having no say in the matter, only knowing he is the new God Warrior and chosen one and his life is no longer his own for the next thousand years. Mathew, now Prince Mathew, is the newest member of this elite club. Its members chosen through no choice of their own. Their lives and destinies no longer in their command but rather commanded by another. With the exception of only a few planets, Prince Mathew is the entity humans and in some cases, non-humans, pray to for deliverance. Their prayers are heard and passed on to Control, the controller who determines where the prince will go next. Though many do cry out for help, the Prince cannot always deliver them from the evil of others. Sometimes he gets to those in time. Sometimes, unfortunately, he is too late. In many cases, when all seems lost and they have little or no hope of being saved, many will cry out for the Shadow Prince. While Prince Mathew and the Shadow Prince are one and the same, the outcome can be drastically different. Prince Mathew is known as the savior. The Shadow Prince is better known as the destroyer. Even those in the animal world fear him, knowing full well he is the bringer of life and death, rendering justice as he sees fit. Having the power to destroy entire civilizations or planets though he has never had to do that. On Centaurian, he is tasked to save a species of humanoids known as Centaurs. A half man and half horse species. Brought to their planet by slavers along with raptors and an intelligent ape species. The apes controlling and using the raptors to kill off the Centaurs. Prince Mathews mission, to save the Centaurs at whatever cost necessary. His plan, to align them with the lions who fight and eat the apes and the raptors. His mate, the Lady Syllium, assisting a small kingdom on a nearby planet as they fight off multiple armies joined together to take the kingdom and all its resources. Hoping his mission will be completed and he will make it back to help them before the armies break through their defenses.
