Moved by curiosity to explore the recesses of a tomb as yet untouched by tourists, he bribed the Arabs to show that to him. He got the papyrus scrolls from the coffin, got them translated and gave them to his friend who was a writer; and hence then things came out.With this back ground, I trust the book may bring pleasure and may convey to your mind a picture, of the old and mysterious Egypt in whose lost glories you may be so deeply interested.
