For the next three years, with the help of a simple summer job, she found the strength to stand and leave the house of horrors she had come to know as home. Mary left at the wonderful age of sixteen and never looked bock. She says she is no longer in pain from the abuse of her childhood. She is happy to say that she is no longer Damaged and Broken but healed and whole.
