Book Synopsis: Matt and Stephanie Langley and their two children, Heather and Connor, are finally moving to a dream house in the posh part of Blackworth Village, just a couple of doors away from Stephanie's parents, Geoff and Elaine Todd. When you live in a quiet village, surrounded by beautiful Yorkshire landscape, and you have a gorgeous wife and two adoring children, surely moving house to live closer to your in-laws can't be a nightmare. Well, it can be if your father-in-law is an ex amateur boxer who owns four dogs, a Rottweiller, two Dobermans, and a Jack Russell terrier...and your mother-in-law hates dogs! After a strange Alsatian dog, named Leo, is found huddled up to Geoff's dogs and his owner is found dead, the local police blame this strange dog. Together, Matt and Geoff begin their own investigation but problems soon arise: banned drugs, strange neighbors, and a body count that is rising faster than a lift in a hotel. After reading Dogs, instead of walking your dog, you may just put him outside and lock the door! Author Bio: About the Author Paul Manning resides in Bradford, Yorkshire with his partner Karen and their two children, Connor & Shannon. He also has an older daughter, Heather. Paul, a retired postman, came up with the story, Dogs, when he was on his postal round and got stuck in a garden with an Alsatian dog that was very reluctant to let him leave. He had to scale a six-foot wall to escape. It reminded him of a film he saw when he was 10 years old, The Pack, and made him wonder what would have happened had he not escaped. And this story is the result.
