Description

We bring together authors from various walks of life for yet another publication, "Err&OR"."Err&OR" is about stories from the authors' own lives, and the lives of others. Most of the plotsare weaved as close to reality as possible, with a tinge of fiction in them. Some incidents arealso told exactly the way they happened. The authors of this book have been working together as writers and poets and have a book ofpoetry already to their name. It is an anthology of poems called "Arz Hai", which marks thebeginning of their journey not only as poets and authors but also as as social entrepreneurs. The "Err&Or" not only brings together a group of young individuals yet again, but also introducesa new writer to the readers, who also happens to be a prime member of the "Arz Hai Club". Sheis someone who is new to this field, someone who never aimed at being a writer or gettingpublished. She is a research scholar of psychology, and like a good psychologist she too is agood observer. The incidences of everyday that most people would not even think about morethan once are deeply and automatically analysed in the brain of a psychologist, and so in her'sas well. One particular experience which impacted her and sent her spiraling down the way ofthoughts that she wrote about in the form of a story and absolutely won our hearts! Now, coming to a very important question, why is the book called "Err&OR"?Life is all about options. About the decisions that we make. We make mistakes, we change ourcourse of action, and we learn from the whole process of it. In every story of this book, there is adecision made, no matter how small or insignificant, impacting the near or very far off future insome way. And with every decision there is something to experience, a change, a meander inthe flow of everything. The inspiration of this book is a very simple one. It is a collection ofexperiences in real or imaginary worlds which are a part of the authors in some way, andconstitute a little section of their experiential worlds.A collection of decisions. A collection of "Errors".This book represents a part of them, it reflects what they see and the things they feel. The hope of the authors is for the readers to find a little of themselves in the stories of this book,a single story or all or any combination of them may touch you like no other story may havetouched before. Short stories being easier to read and finish in a busy schedule, are easier tokeep track off, and can be carried with you wherever you go. A book for travelling, for waitingrooms, for nights after a long and difficult day.In our first attempt at this, we hope to achieve all of it. And I think we have.Let "Err&OR" befriend you. You won't regret this friendship. We promise.
