This is a coming-of-age story about Eva Roberts, a small town girl struggling to find herself and escape her overprotective family and their problems. Her twin brother, Ethan, is a successful attorney with a brand new BMW and a spacious house on the lake. Everything seems to come easy for him while Eva lives from paycheck to paycheck at menial jobs. She doesnt think her life has been fair, and it doesnt help that she cant find herself an awesome boyfriend, either. So she decides to throw caution to the wind and moves to the city in pursuit of Mr. Right, The Perfect Job, Fame and Fortune.She wants everything that shes never had before, and she needs to prove to herself and to her family that she can make it on her own outside of their quiet little town. Of course, in the city, life is harder for her than shed expected it to be.The Perfect Job doesnt seem to come along, and neither does Mr. Right, but she does find a lot of Mr. Right Nows. All the while, Eva maintains a kick-ass attitude and her sense of humor as she sets out to win over the big city and to find the happiness and love that shes always wanted. Along the way, she discovers her familys hidden secrets that makes her question her own values and ideals as she seeks out her own place in the world.
