From the author of Fall from Chaos: The Aqualines comes the second installation of the trials and tribulations of the Olympian Gods. Zeus' perfect life is unraveling like a tattered tapestry, and Hades has grown bold enough to question his every decision. Hera has forgotten her place as a woman, and has begun demanding that Zeus explain his actions to her. Vesta's ongoing absence is a continual reminder that he is not in control. He feels that he is going to have to go to extreme lengths to remind his ever growing family that he is the rightful King of the Gods. Vesta's sheltered life within the castle walls did little to prepare her for the outside world. She is determined to prove that there is more to life than wine, incest, and wealth. With the help of some unlikely friends, she battles starvation, a myriad of angry animals, and harsh weather. She knows she has to keep moving to stay ahead of her family, because to her family Vesta is property, and the Gods do not like to lose their possessions. Meanwhile, Lelantos is trying to survive exile on the Other Side. This is a land where the mighty Gods themselves never wish to set foot. The people on the Other Side are as fierce and strange as the land they inhabit. The King has decided that all of his problems started the moment he lost control of Vesta, which means the solution to his problems is simple: Vesta must return to the family. Zeus does not care if she returns voluntarily or by force, but he will make sure that she returns and accepts her place in the family. He will not make the mistake of being too lenient with her again. Will Zeus' extreme measures help him regain his carefree lifestyle? Will Vesta find what she is looking for, or fail in the attempt? Will Lelantos survive the unknown trials that await him?
